Jennifer’s Approach
In her private practice, Jennifer’s approach to counseling is eclectic, but predominantly Strengths-based, Solution-oriented, and Relational.  She incorporates elements of Cognitive-Behavioral and Rational-Emotive therapies, as well as Humanistic, Gestalt, Narrative, and “Possibility” therapies.

Jennifer’s dynamic background infuses her practice with a holistic lens, and taps into the richly textured layers of experience, including the wisdom of the body.  She values multi-modal expression as part of the growth and healing process.  When appropriate, she engages clients in experiential exercises, such as role-playing, mindfulness and relaxation exercises, breath-work, movement, mixed media art, creative writing, and play.
